Patrik Lorentzson

I build businesses —
and run other people's growth.

Four strands, one company, and it is me doing them.

An AI implementation practice, an advertising network in Manchester, a search for ordinary companies to buy, and the growth work I have actually been paid for. What follows is the honest state of each one, including the parts that have not started.

A page like this normally opens with a portrait. No photograph of Patrik has been supplied, and a stock face standing in for him would be a fabrication, so the space is held instead.

What I am doing now

Four strands, one company

None of these is a team with my name over the door. Where something has not started, the card says so rather than describing what it would be like if it had.

All of it sits under Lorentzo, the company I run everything through. [LORENTZO — legal entity and registration not yet decided]

The paid work

Growth, run for owners

Coaching an owner, the marketing and the outreach — the offers, the messages that actually go out, the follow-up nobody gets round to. Run rather than advised on, for one business at a time.

One client so far. The only hard figure on this website came out of it, and it is set out further down.

What that is, and the terms →

Building

AI implementation for small businesses

Putting AI agents into owner-run companies: qualifying the enquiries, chasing the follow-ups, writing the weekly report nobody has time to write. The dull recurring work rather than anything clever.

Nothing has been installed for a paying client yet, so there is nothing here to show. When there is, it goes in this space.

Live

RAW Display Network

A printed advertising network in Greater Manchester. Dry-wipe specials boards placed free in cafés, pubs and restaurants; six permanent advertising slots along the bottom of each one, and one advertiser per trade so nobody sits next to a competitor.

The website is live. [RAW DISPLAY PROGRESS — not yet supplied]

Buy-side. Nothing bought

Buying a business

A small number of ordinary, profitable companies — services, trades, maintenance, the unglamorous ones that quietly work — bought and then actually run rather than bought and flipped.

Nothing has been bought. That is the first line of the page this links to, and it is there on purpose.

What can actually be evidenced

One engagement, in full

There is one number on this website. It is set out here with everything it does not cover, because a figure nobody can check is worth nothing and a figure that quietly implies more than it says is worse.

What is confirmed

Each row comes from Patrik directly.
The clientA software company. One of them.
The workCoaching, marketing and outreach. The growth side, run by me rather than advised on.
The retainerMy first retainer with them was kr 50,000 a month, and it was that from the first month rather than a number grown into.
The paymentCompleted bank transfers. Money that arrived. Those can be shown to anyone who asks.
The period[PERIOD]

What is not being claimed

  • A total

There is a figure that could be added up, and it would be a large one. It comes from a screenshot that looks cut off at the bottom, which makes it a floor rather than a total. A number that might be wrong is worse than no number, so there is none here.

  • Other clients

One client. Referrals came out of it. How many of those turned into work is not something that has been counted, so it is not claimed here either.

  • Anybody else's outcome

Nothing on this page is a forecast, an average or a promise about any business other than the one above. One engagement is a fact, not a pattern.

[COACHING VOLUME — not yet supplied]

How many owners have been coached, over what period, and what can be shown for it. This space is held deliberately: a figure here would change what the rest of this page is allowed to say, so until it is supplied and can be evidenced the page stands on the single engagement above.

Before this

The part of this page that is missing

A page like this one is mostly history, and mine is not written down anywhere the person who built this page could reach. So rather than a career assembled out of guesses, here are the gaps, marked.

[EARLIER COMPANIES — not yet supplied]

Businesses started, run, sold or closed before this, with rough dates and what happened to each. One line apiece is enough to build the section from.

[ROLES AND EMPLOYERS — not yet supplied]

Jobs held, what the work actually was, and roughly when. A hub page is mostly this, and none of it is written down anywhere reachable from here.

[HOW THIS STARTED — not yet supplied]

How Patrik got into this work in the first place. Not a founding myth — the plain version, in his own words, is what belongs here.

Nothing above is being withheld for effect. It is simply not known here, and an invented year, company or founding story would be the one thing on this website that could not survive a question.

Elsewhere

Writing, talks and profiles

On most pages of this kind this is the part people actually come back for. There is nothing in it yet, and a filler post written to make the section look populated would be worth less than the empty space.

[WRITING — nothing supplied yet]

Articles, newsletters, posts worth keeping. On a hub this is usually the spine of the whole page — the part people come back for — and there is nothing to put in it yet.

[TALKS AND INTERVIEWS — nothing supplied yet]

Anything recorded: a talk, a podcast appearance, an interview, with a link.

[PUBLIC PROFILES — not yet supplied]

Which accounts may be linked from a page carrying his real name. Nothing is linked until that is answered, because a link from here is permanent in a way a post is not.

Straight answers

Questions worth asking

What do you actually do all day?

The growth side of businesses: the offers, the outreach, the follow-up. For one client it was that work done for them, on a monthly retainer. The rest of what is on this page is my own — an advertising network in Manchester, the AI implementation practice, and looking for a company to buy.

Why is so much of this page marked unfinished?

Because the alternative is inventing it. The blocks marked in dashes are the places a biography, a set of earlier companies and a body of writing belong. They are visible on purpose: an unfilled space is honest and a plausible-looking paragraph in the same spot would not be.

One client?

At that rate, from the first month, plus referrals out of it that have not been counted. Anyone asking that is asking the right question, and the honest answer is that once is once. It is also why there is no named system anywhere on this site and nothing sold as repeatable.

Where are you based?

I am Swedish. The work happens over video and email, and the businesses can be anywhere that shares enough of a working day. The advertising network is the exception — that one is Greater Manchester, on the ground.
