notice
This covers the information sent through the forms on this website. It is short because very little is done with it.
What is collected
Only what is typed into a form: a name, a business name, an email address, a telephone number if one is given, where the business is, and whatever is written in the message box. The form also stores the time it was sent and a one-way hash of the sender's IP address, which is used to stop the form being abused. The IP address itself is not stored.
What it is used for
To answer the enquiry and to talk about the work. Nothing else. It is not sold, it is not added to a mailing list, and there is no automated follow-up sequence behind it.
The lawful basis
Answering an enquiry someone chose to send is a legitimate interest, and where the consent box on the form is ticked it is also consent. That consent can be withdrawn at any time.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are deleted automatically twenty-four months after they arrive, and sooner on request.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of any kind. There is no JavaScript on it at all.
Rights
Anyone can ask for a copy of what is held about them, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and it will be done. Complaints about how information has been handled go to the data protection authority in the country of residence — in Sweden that is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office.
Who is responsible
The law requires this notice to name the person or company responsible for the information rather than only a website. Which legal entity fronts this work is not settled yet, so rather than put a plausible-looking name here the gap has been left visible: [CONTROLLER — legal name, registration number, registered address and a contact address go here once the entity is confirmed.] Until it is filled in, the fastest route to a person about any of this is the contact details in the footer.
